Monday Madness.. Sharing some great deals with you ...

Here are some awesome Deals at some store, the coupons I either found online or i clipped from the Sunday Papers (3)

Walgreens has some good deals this week.

Calling all chocolate Lovers, Toblerone Chocolate bars are on sale for 2 for $3.00 with the $1.00 off of 2 coupon they come out to $1.00 a piece.

Progressive Soup is on sale for .99 a can, there are several coupons out right now for Save $1.00 on 4 which = 2.96 for 4 cans of soup which is .74 cents a can.

If you have a HEB near you then you can find these great deals there.

Russell stover Boxed Chocolate on sale for $3.98 size 11-12oz, coupon found in this sunday's paper was $1.00 off 7.4oz or larger. Which means you get a Box of Chocolate for only $2.98 Perfect for any chocolate lover in your life.. including me. :)

Storybook Candy books (lifesaver, gummies, Fundip, and Laffy Taffy) has them for $3.00 each there is a prinitable coupon for $2.50 off of 3 which means if you bought the 3 you would spend $6.50 ... ( now usually right after christmas they clearance all this candy stuff, I am thinking I might hold on to my coupon because if they do what I think they will put them on clearance I can get them cheaper than $3.00 a Book, and still use my coupon.)....

Ok Now on to one of my Fav. stores Target Who would have thunk that Target could compete with Walmart... (well in all actual reality you could bring all these ads to walmart and get these prices, because Walmart will price match any ad)....

But for the sake of these Deals here they are.

Frozen Green Giant Veggies Target has them for $1.00 each, with the coupons that are printable or clipped already if you buy 3 you save $.60 which means if you buy 3 with coupon you pay $2.40 for 3!

Betty Crocker, instant Box mixes are on sale for $.99 each with the coupon that you can print or clip you save $.50 on 2 which means you are getting 2 for $1.48!!!!

and the Best deal of the Day is Campbells Soup... Target has them on sale for $.60 a can, with printable only coupon Save $1.00 on 4 = $1.40 for 4 cans which comes to $.35 a can!!!!

Now Target also has coupons you can print from their website, most are target only. So for instance Target has a Printable coupon that is $.75 on 3 cans of Campbells soup. So @ $.60 a can (x3) - $.75 = $1.05 for 3 which again comes out to $.35 a can :)

I hope you find these smokin deals worth you time and Precious Money... :)

My latest Project...

So after I made my Thanksgiving Centerpiece I had to make a Christmas one.
So I went to Michaels and right after thanksgiving they had their fall stuff on sale for 80% off, I bought a Black Pumpkin that would be the base of my centerpiece.
I then went and shopped their sale of 50% Christmas Bushes and such. I found some beautiful gree and gold Poinsettia's and some big red and gold ones as well.
I had some pretty red, green, and gold Christmas fabric that I had gotten at Hancock Fabrics in the scrap fabric bundle section.
So I covered the pumpkin with the fabric with hot glue gun and then i clipped the bushes and placed them in an arrangement i was happy with and Viola I had a beautiful Centerpiece, Picture Below...

Hott Savings at Hancock Fabric... How I saved over $200.00

So I an sharing my Awesome Savings I just received at Hancock Fabric. I Spent $63.00 and saved over $200.00 Here is how I did it.
In the sunday paper from Last week the ad had two coupons, one was for last Sunday only, the Second was for Today Only. You saved 10% off your total purchase. Now the big savings are the specials that were in the ad. So if you have ever bought Patterns you know they are expensive, usually running about $15.00 but can go all the way up to $20.00, so imagine if you could get up to 20 Patterns for only $1.99.... Exactly you can see the savings already cha ching in your head. So they were good on McCalls and Butterick Excluding only the see and sew patterns, which are only $2.99 not on sale. So you can get a limit of 10 of each. So you would spend $20.00 for 10, where as just one of those patterns alone could be worth normally priced $19.99. Which is what some of mine were. the others were $15 and the lowest regular price for a pattern was $11.95.

The second Deal I took advantage of is Duck Fabric, (which is heavy duty fabric can be used for various things, I am using it for Aprons,) Normally $9.99 a yard (now mind you the other day not even realizing that this fabric was on sale because I guess I had missed it... I paid $9.99 a yard for the same type fabric at Joann's.) So it is on Sale for the LOW Price of $2.99 a yard. WOW!!!! So my projects that use that fabric I needed 1.75 yards, which came to 4.07 total.. WOW... the other part that I need was much less and only paid 1.66 for it.

The third special i took advantage of was the thread.. You always need thread, well Coats and Clark thread all varieties are %50 off.. WOW.. now the cheapest thread 125 yards is 1.49 and other longer ones can be up to 3.79 and I believe higher... all %50 off... WOW!!!!

So after all the specials I then used my 10% coupon, and on top of it I got Signed up for Hancock rewards Card, which I happily signed up for which was free.. Gave me even more of a saving on the items I purchased.

Now here is my challenge for you, some of you may not have a Hancock, what I recommend is seeing if Joann Fabric will Price match ad's. The reason I say this is I know Hancock will price match ads and Take Joann coupons... so If Joann Honor's Hancock's ad then you can also take advantage of the AWESOME savings that I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sharing Sunday..

My Recent Craft shares...
Fabric Christmas tree:
Items needed Some sort of cone either cardboard or Styrofoam cone.
2 Quarters of Fabric of your choice.
Hot Glue gun or Fabric Glue
Scissors, Ruler.
Now I got the idea from JoAnn Fabrics but I did not follow it. I saw the pic and then I went my own way.
I purchased a hard cardboard cone for the base of the tree, I purchased two Quarter Yards of Fabric that I thought contrasted well, a light and dark work best.
I then made slits in the fabric length wise every 1 inch.
After making the cuts I then tore the fabric with my hands to get the frayed effect.
After tearing the fabric I then cut each strip in half. I pulled the strings from the fabric to make it even more frayed.
I then warmed up my hot glue gun.
I folded the pieces of fabric in half the folded half is glued to the cone, I measured about a half of a thumb up from the bottom.
I alternated every other one all the way around.
That gave me my base and I worked my way up from there.
At the very top I used one piece of fabric cut to fit, folded and then glued around the tip.
To fluff I turned the tree upside down and shook the fabric, with help of my hands I made sure all pieces were pushed to fly out then by shaking it side to side I fluffed it for a couple mins.
I am debating spraying it with starch, and possibly using my curling iron after sprayed with starch to curl the ends up.

Thrifty Thursday...

So first off let me say, I am obsessed with coupons. So every Sunday I buy 3 news papers, Dallas, Killeen and Austin. So essentially I get not only Triple the coupons, but different ones from each city. So if you live by another city or can get your hands on another cities paper, DO IT!!! I promise it is worth it. So I spend 6 dollars in papers and i get more than double the savings. I also scan the ad's specifically for walgreens, Target and HEB (you may have other grocery stores to choose from in your area) Target had some great specials on some items I needed for Thanksgiving Dinner. So with the coupons I clipped in the paper and the savings at Target I saved over $15.00 on the items I purchased, like green beans, Campbell soup, glade candles, and dog food. Now a couple of the coupons I used I printed from couponbug.com awesome site for selecting the coupons you want and then printing them, the great thing about the site is, it asks for your zip code, I put in several of those in different states, like Denver and Back home in MT. I find lots of buy 2 get 1 free and those I love the most. :)

I then pulled out my coupon for a Free 32 oz Iced Tea from Bush's Chicken!! Love FREE Things!!!!
