Extreme Couponing Versus Practical Couponing....

So the debate continues and I hear it everywhere I go.. "have you seen that extreme couponing show" well yes I have.. Why do I watch it... To maybe pick up some sort of new info... not likely but just maybe. While usually I get so mad because I can see they are defrauding and get over on the grocery stores. I get mad because they are using so many coupons that it forces the cashier to override them so they get the credit, but I would bet that most of those coupons are being used not as intended or are breaking some rule on it...
Why can I bet this, because I coupon. I know the language and have most of the same Coupons...
I can see what they are doing and it angers me. Now why does it anger me>??
It angers me because they ruin it for the rest of us. I am a Practical Couponer. I have a small stockpile of items that we as a Family use or that I donate to troops. I don't clear shelves, for the purpose of because it is Free.. or "they pay me" to take it out of the store.
I don't steal Papers or inserts. I buy my papers legally and I also ask others for theirs and even better I have a Group on Facebook full of ladies who swap coupons with each other. I also do the recycle thing every once in awhile.
If I buy papers I don't buy them all, like a couple ladies who need a lesson in Karma here in Killeen... One day I will run into them...
So back to the purpose of this read this article by Yahoo and see if you agree...
Some points I do agree while the esteem part I do not.. I know what is reasonable and what can be accomplished. I know I can save 90% and do it legally.. I know that I will only buy things that my family will use, eat, or need... I will never clear a shelf just because I can. I will treat others as I would want to be treated, I will share coupons with others because that is how I am. and last but not least I am a PRACTICAL COUPONER NOT AN EXTREME COUPONER.. so PLease don't classify all of us into one group.... :)

Stockpiling Vs Hoarding... LMAO... all the same

So there is chick out there whose blob is Bargain Hound.. and she well posted a Blog about how she was not a Hoarder and that she was a stockpiler and that there is a difference.. and well I educated her on how she was wrong even according to Dictionary.com.. I guess the truth hurt her so much she deleted my comment but has enough face to post on her Facebook wall... this
"Bargain Hound Thanks! I actually had people tell me I was a hoarder, telling me I need to educate myself before educating others, etc. LOL I actually had to BAN one person from my page, they were really nasty to me. And I had to delete a few comments on FB as well as on my blog. I can take it if people have a difference in opinion - but there's no reason to get nasty with me. This page is a nasty-free zone! :)"

So tonight I get a couple email about comments on my blogs and this is what they had to say.. LOL now keep in my mind I am far from dumb.. ok .. first was Who cares about my new page, that I decided not to keep... LOL so yep Who cares about my new web page... HAHA jokes on you for that one... and well second comment was.. Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "My Friday night shopping deals!!!":

Your a hypocrite! You think you are educating others? You need to educate yourself..IDIOT!

So now let me say this.. I never said I was not a stockplier.. well yes mine is small it is still a stockpile.. now, keep in mind her blog Here shows the kind of stockpile / Hoard she has....

so anyway the debate is is a stockpiler a hoarder.. and well according to everything i read and know yes... now keep in mind when people think hoarder they think a messy house filled to ceiling with garbage or crap.. well guess what sista you also have a hoard of items filled up to the ceiling... HAHAH again jokes on you.. and here is the last kicker in this scenario...
A hoarder is known to be emotionally attached to their items.. right... well so is a couponer who has spent maybe little to no money on the items. but heaven forbid if the items were to disappear, a fire struck or that it was all to have to leave for whatever reason.. they would freak the F out... Yep you would see grown women throwing a fit left and right and why.. because their precious stockpile would be gone.... so does that sound like emotional attachment to you.. it sure does to me...

So miss Bargain Hound..and anyone else who has the same belief.... Stick this in your pipe and smoke it... I am not a Hypocrite, I have a small Stockpile that gets given away everyday. I am a Hoarder just on a smaller scale.. and well I can admit the truth it just sucks that you can't.

My Vaca this First week of May!!!!

So I took some PTO this First week of May because my MIL is in town, My hubby took Leave as well so we could all hang out!. It has been a blast so far. I took my MIL coupon shopping on Monday and well I have her Hooked like Hungry Fish ... She was introduced to my crazy coupon world and well is amazed and still rants about what I saved and how she can do it too.

I was bummed to find out that my 6 sunday Papers from Austin did not have all the Inserts they were supposed to.. I opened the bundle and was the first to get any from it. So needless to say I called and they are sending me a Refund. Which is great but defeats the purpose of why I bought that many papers to begin with the COUPONS.. DUH...

I have a New group on Facebook called Hott Coupon Swappers... it is full of people I know and others know who want to learn or want to swap and trade coupons... I hope to get it off and running soon... I did get two SAE envelopes from some friends in MT and I am sending them a array of coupons so they can get started..

I am on day 2 of reorganizing my coupon binder and finish clipping and filing them all.. it is a work in progress and hope to maybe finish tonight. I have to have it done by Friday morning because my BFF and I are going coupon shopping and then lunch on Friday.

I eat, sleep and breath coupons... I went to the commissary yesterday for a couple items I didn't have coupon's for and well i went with non I came back with tons.. LOL can't let me go anywhere without coupon's coming into the picture... LOL

Well Happy Couponing Friends Stay Tuned for my Deals and Steals after Friday's Shopping trip.

Need a Name for my Spanish/Mexican Dish....

So I love to create new things, So I did this tonight and I think it turned out awesome, Just a little spicy but that can be tweaked... But I need a Name for it....any ideas after you read the ingredients, Share them in the comments :)

4 Chicken Breasts
2 Boil in a Bag Rice
1 Can of refried Beans
1 Bag of Kraft Mexican shredded Cheese
1 Can of Rotel tomatoes with Lime and Green chilies
1 Packet of Fajitas seasoning
Salt
Water

put 4 cups of water in a pot place 2 bags of boil in a bag white rice. Fully submerged turn the burner on to high and boil rice about 10-12 mins.

Plug in Electric Skillet and turn temp to 300 -325 put about 2 to 3 cups of water in the skillet. Pour the packet of Fajitas seasoning in the water and mix well add the chicken put cover on and cook till chicken it fully cooked.

Open the can of Refried beans and place them in a microwaveable bowl if they look dry add about 2 TBL of water place a paper towel over the top and cook on high for 2 mins.

once the Rice is done, drain the water out and pour the cooked rice in the pot, stir rice, open the can of Rotel tomatoes and added to the rice and mix well. Add some garlic powder and Salt. Then add about 2 handfuls of Mexican cheese and mix well till melted.

Chicken should be cooked and most of the liquid should be gone. add some cheese to the tops of the chicken breasts cover till melted. Remove chicken and place on plate, add the rice to the remaining mixture of water and seasoning and cook, turn rice often so not to burn but kind of fry it.

Take the refried beans out of the microwave and add about 1 cup or amount to taste to the beans and mix till melted if it does not fully melt put back in microwave for a couple more seconds so cheese is melted.

Serve Chicken with Cheese on plate, A spoon full of Refried beans, and a spoon full and a half of the Rice mixture... and Bon A petite

Coupons, Coupons and more coupons...

So I am obsessed with Coupons.. LOL Is it a Bad thing? I think NOT... I save not only my family money, but I send them to my Mom and My sister and my friends and even strangers in the store who is buying an item and I have an extra coupon I will hand it over and say you can save X amount of money with this coupon. They are usually very receptive and ask me how I get all my all coupons. Some also will mention something about my Binder, I have been asked if I purchased it and where?, How did you get all those coupons, How did you make the binder?... I love the questions, and it brings up the fact that so many are not aware of the info that I know.. and well to be honest they probably won't read a book about it they were told they could. They want to know from a real person in front of them hands on...
Which leads to the young lady at Kmart who asked me to teach her and I said yes. So my project in the next couple months is going to be to educate those who want my help. If you know someone who would like to learn what I know,or want new opinions and suggestions. Please refer them to my blog. I am going to try and make a habit of getting this off the ground and post more often.

I would like more followers... But I want you to know I am different than some of the rest...

I am a military wife, I work full Time, I don't consider myself an extreme couponer because I do not buy things in bulk if my family won't ever use them or need them. I do search for a good deal, but I don't have the 30 hours to spend going to every grocery store in town to get all the deals.
